Cat Like reflexes - responding when inspired - keeping the momentum

I often joke about having "cat-like" reflexes, its more of a mantra i repeat... they say, say it & it will be so.

Its said that "cats" land on their feet, and respond at the drop of a hat.

This time last week, i was sooooooooooooo inspired and beaming with hope and inspired thought of how I would use my blog.

So as this weeks post title indicates, I picked up my laptop and got STARTED! I was keeping the momentum

Well this week ... not so much =0)

Now while I don't know a great deal about cats, and I'm not sure if  having "Cat-Like" reflexes are necessarily the it characteristic, but for the sake of this post I'll go with it.

MOVE > DO SOMETHING > TAKE THE 1ST STEP > BREAK A WINDOW (figuratively)

when you are blessed with an idea, inspired thought - MOVE! Don't allow any time to pass between the time of the thought and your 1st move.

This blog for instance, last week I was so inspired to start a blog, so I did. I didn't allow any time to pass from the time of the thought and my 1st step. Yes, I know everything isn't as easy as starting a blog, well wait a minute --- yes it is. All you have to do is begin.

Beginning - 1st allow yourself to think the thought. Often times we think a thing, and the very next thought is "Awe that's crazy" "I can't do that", "I don't have the time", "I don't have the money" and the list of excuses why you shouldn't do "it" is endless.

YOU are worth it, you are important and you can do what ever you put your mind to.

Ok, here are a few steps to get you going.

Beginning

- jot a quick note
- record a voice note
- begin research
- telling someone what you intend to do - this one is really great, that person can help you stay on task.

Be Flexible
Allow the thought/the idea/ the inspiration  to grow and develop in you and around you.

Take ACTION
Do something anything in the direction of your goal/thought/idea
ask those who are doing what you want to do for advice and next steps.

Understand the storm... well that is if you're faced with one.
Sometimes you can get started and there will be little to no back lash and other times back lash is the 1st thing to greet you. DON'T take no for an answer... continue until you meet your desired goal.

Keep in mind its your thought so others will not be as invested as you will be and that is ok. Keep going.

Recap
Think the thought - and many of us have tons of thoughts stock piled in our minds and have yet to move on one of them. Choose one, the one that makes you smile from the inside out, the one that keeps you up at night and day dreaming during the day.  that is the one you want to go with.

Be nice to yourself and allow yourself to think without judgment and doubt.
Take action. really take action, make a call, do an internet search -something!
Pack an umbrella - prepare yourself/ build your dikes, stock pile tons of positive energy for the days when you don't want to move forward and to ward off the nay-sayers.

If I can do it YOU can do it!

Continued Success
